Time-Nuts and Related Equipment For Sale

I need to make some room so I'd like to sell a number of pieces of test equipment, time and frequency hardware, and other miscellany.

Unless otherwise noted, all gear is in very good physical condition and is believed to be fully functional (though I haven't gone through full verification tests). Before shipping, I will power each unit (if feasible) and do a basic function test. You'll know the results before I ship. I have paper manuals for some of the items, and will include those on request.

I tried to set prices based on recent completed eBay sales, but it's hard to know what this gear is really worth these days. If you think the price for an item is unreasonable, we can talk.

Items have a 7-day right of return, buyer to pay return shipping. I prefer payment via PayPal, though I'll consider other options.

Prices listed do not include shipping from Dayton, Ohio (45409). I charge my actual packing and shipping cost. I use a professional shipper to pack rack mount and other large, heavy items. That usually costs about $50 for a rack unit. I pack smaller items myself at no charge, though there aren't many items like that on the current list!. I normally ship via UPS ground. I'm willing to ship internationally so long as I don't incur any additional cost or too much additional hassle.

Symmetricom TSC-5120A Allan Deviation/Phase Noise Test Set

I have mixed feelings about selling this, but I just don't use it that much these days. The Symmetricom TSC-5120A is a self-contained test set that compares reference and test devices at any frequency from 1 to 30 MHz (they don't need to be the same) and provides Allan Deviation and phase noise infornmation on screen and via ethernet connection.

This system is fully functional and has had a few parts (power supply and main board) replaced over the years. Thanks to an anonymous friend, I have a box of untested spare RF modules in case of future trouble. I'm the original owner and it's always been well taken care of. HP 5340A Microwave Frequency Counter

This is a later version with LED instead of Nixie display.

HP 3586C Selective Voltmeter

This unit is in good working condition but shows error code "CE-E" at startup. That error indicates a problem with the wideband power calculation. Performance in tuned mode seems ok. Memory backup battery was replaced in 2016.

PTS Synthesizers

I have collected too many Programmable Test Sources, Inc. ("PTS") RF synthesizers. These are analog "mix and multiply" synthesizers with good phase noise and very fast switching times. Note that most of these do not have an internal oscillator and require 10 MHz input.

These prices are all ballpark; there are so many different models it's hard to find comparables. We can talk.
