Quick Setup Guide forAustron 2100F LORAN Receiver
This is a cheat-sheet for initial setup of Austron 2100F LORAN-C receiver.
- Enter GRI: "89700 GRI"
- Start Acquisition: "1 ACQ"
- LEDs should go to ACQUIRE, then SETTLE, finally TRACKING
- Status key functions. To see current value, enter STATUS and the
number below. EXCEPT -- "STATUS 1" disables front panel switches, and
"STATUS 2" enables them.
To set other values, enter value, then STATUS, then number. For example, to set time constant to 3200 GRI, enter "0 STATUS 4".
0 Front Panel Switch Enable 1 Front Panel Switch Lockout 2 Noise Number 3 Receiver Gain 4 Time Constant (default is 2, 800 GRI): 0 3200 GRI 1 1600 GRI 2 800 GRI 3 400 GRI 4 200 GRI 5 Clock Display 6 Receiver Status Bits ("0 STATUS 6" clears BLINK LED and other errors): 1 Acquisition in Progress 2 Loss of Reference 3 Low SNR 4 Station Blinking 5 Tracking Locked 6 Not Yet Tracking 7 Phase Shift ("0 STATUS 7" to clear) 8 Elapsed Time ("0 STATUS 8" to clear) 9 Not Implemented - If you don't want to use the automatically selected station, pushing the STATION_ADVANCE key will output the approximate delay of the station being tracked (master is 0us). To select the next station, enter "1 STATION_ADVANCE". You can cycle through all stations this way.
- To set the receiver clock, enter HHMMSS for several seconds in the future, enter STATUS, and then at the time mark enter 5 .
- The CLEAR key cancels data entry and clears keyboard and display when "--HELP--" is displayed.
