[time-nuts] Time synchronization and the Energy Policy Act of 2005

Hello,



The Energy Policy Act of 2005 established that beginning in 2007, daylight
saving time is extended one month and begins for most of the United
Stateson the Second Sunday in March and ends on the first Sunday of
November.



With that, should I be concerned that systems may be affected by the new
changes in daylight savings time?



On a non-ntp note, does anyone know how vendors of COTS are handling
this?  Have
any certified their software to be compliant?



Any advice, suggestions, best practices on this is much appreciated.
