Assuming you're talking about the ones sold by "sierrametals," I think I
mentioned a few posts ago (2/13 at 1950 PST) that the problem with an
earlier one he sold was simply that its reference switch was set to EXT.
That appeared to be true of the second one as well.

The earlier one was pretty badly miscalibrated, but there didn't seem to be
much else wrong with it, if anything.
