WASHINGTON —  President Bush on Tuesday accepted the
Pentagon's decision to stop buying Global Positioning
System satellites that can intentionally degrade the
accuracy of civil signals used for a myriad of
purposes _ from tracking aircraft to finding missing
skiers.
