[time-nuts] Posting style Was: looking for gooddescription/generalized model for time adjustments

Has anyone discussed making this mailing list into a centralised forum
on web server. The benefits would be that all replies are naturally
threaded, so it's easy to scroll and see context, and threads do not
get disjointed by some broken email systems out there. This system
lends itself to being able to be searched so we can all look up things
easier instead of reposting the same questions over and over. It can
still be a closed shop with login for access and any spammers could be
easily removed. With it centralised, this could reduce the amount of
traffic that has to be sent out to clients and there are no problems
with people going on vacation and setting an autoresponder by
accident. It could be split into various sub-forums with specialities
in different time-nuts context so people who have no interest in
certain subjects could miss them. There is no more multiple time-nuts
footers added to each posting. Most people have full web access now
and there is really little need for just a Usenet style newsgroup. It
would also keep this stuff out of our email boxes which should be left
for perhaps more immediately relevant things in our lives, not that
time-nuts is irrelevant by a long shot.

Now I'd better duck.
