Hi

There's always the time honored "support it with a piece of bungie cord"
approach. The "table" is horizontal and the shake is in the vertical axis.
You fiddle the cord to get the cone to a reasonably "neutral" state. Crude,
but functional up to low 100's of Hz.

That's the only way I've ever seen it done with a speaker.

That works if your setup is horizontal. If it's vertical the spider has to
be weight bearing.
