[time-nuts] GPS antenna splitters

Well just to get the conversation really going. In the US we have a store
called home depot and they and others carry TV antenna splitters with DC
pass through on one leg good to 2.5 Ghz for about $10. Been using one for at
least 2-3 years works just fine.
Certainly this is evil and suspect I will here about it. But it sure works.
Additionally I use 75 ohm TV coax cable from the tower to my systems some 50
odd feet. This is 1/2" hardline very low loss. Available from cable tv
companies for $0.
So my hole feed system is 75 ohm with a swr of about 1.4-1 due to the
impedance mismatch.
Pretty darn good.
Good luck
