Anyone know a source for WECO 439A/440A connectors and adapters? Optimist
that I am, I thought they would be easy to find.

Coping with an HP 3336B.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Hi Bill

Do you actually need the balanced outputs that the WECO connectors provide?

I ask because all models of the 3336 share a common attenuator section and
that provides both 50 and 75 ohm unbalanced coaxial outputs.

The 75ohm output is taken to the front panel on all models but the 50 ohm
output is only taken direct to the front panel on the C variant. On the A
and B versions the 50 ohm output from the attenuator feeds the output
interface to the balanced connectors, module A10 on the 3336A and A11 on the
3336B.

It wouldn't be difficult though to directly access the 50 Ohm coaxial
output from the attenuator and bypass the output module if balanced outputs
wasn't actually a requirement.

regards
