Maybe demand is small for such a product?

They do make thin metal/fabric multi layer stuff (for things like 
exhaust systems) where the fabric is something moderately refractory 
(fiberglass? ceramic wool?)

And, for spacecraft (a very small volume application) look up 
"multilayer insulation" or MLI.
