That's a pretty wide range..

What sort of performance do you need?   There's various "eval board in a 
box" things around.

I've used widgets from NovaSource, about the size of a pack of cards, 
basically a PLL and controls in a little box.

I see they're now part of L3...and the price has gone up to $1150
