[time-nuts] Different or defective FE-5680A?

They probably only wanted the 1 PPS..... the DDS generates the 8.3xxxx  MHz 
and feeds a fixed divider to generate the PPS.
Hence Eds's comments re these units a few posts back. I have a 5650 here 
that was similar.
