I stumbled over this site a few times already, when looking for more
information on different devices. Yes, it contains a wealth of information,
but it's also very much japanese :-)

It looks like the site owner is a ham radio with a thing for old gear :-)

If you are using firefox, try installing rikaichan. With a little bit
of time you get used to read japanese texts using rikaichan and get the
gist of them (the grammar is rather simple in most of these texts).
