Paul,

I have a Netclock/2 8182 that was running flawlessly for years. I would
love to get the Phase Sync bake to green the way it used to be.
Please send all the info you have and I will be happy to put up on my Web
site at www.to-way.com

had at to-way.com

Thanks,

Had

As part of the wwvb remod testing I was given a spectracom netclock2 by
David on the list. As mentioned yesterday the remod works well with it.

However the netclock2 was a later spectracom at the point they no longer
gave out the schematics in the manuals. The good news is the entire rcvr is
a typical 81XX class frontend. Crystal 60 KHz etc. Clearly this was a later
design and some slight difference are there. But if you have nothing the old
schematics will help.

I will say the board was re-laid out and its a cleaner layout thats easier
to follow.
The vco chain is different in that it uses a 5 Mhz xtal not 10 and a 7492
and 74390 counter chain. Have not figured out the math yet but they tend to
want to get the vco to 20 Khz and multiply by 3 to 60 Khz for comparison.
Captured the 27c256 eprom for safe keeping.

Also have 35 pix of the various boards just incase a part smokes (Not that
it ever really happens)and you can't tell the resistor color codes.

Happy to upload to a site if desired. Not sure how many netclock 2s are out
there.
Regards
Paul
