I almost put a GPS front-end chip and small FPGA on the 5370 board. You can imagine where that idea was going. I mean, you've got that whole BeagleBone just sitting there with some spare cycles now that I use the PRU. But it would have doubled the BOM cost. Probably more depending on the choice of DAC solution.
