Thank you for the secret on setting the receiver I was making it way to
hard.
The 3801 absolutely has a problem. Locks and everything just fine. Takes
about 20 minutes from a cold start. It will accept commands I am not
getting the correct output back. Everything had worked so it is a real
problem. I used any number of programs with it. HP satstat gpscontroller
and other old programs. So none of that is sick. The output is 0 to 3V
approx and its a LT1180 so it should be +- 5V at least and more like 7. So
somethings sick.
Its on the bench and will scope it out.
