Heather can run on Windows, macOS, Linux (including the RasPi) and FreeBSD.

Check the first post of this thread.  There is a link to the X11 version source code (also download the attached heather.txt file that contains the documentation).   That .zip file also has a pre-compiled binary for macOS.   Check the readme.txt file for installation instructions (you need to set some permissions).  You will need to install the XQUARTZ package to run it on a mac.
