I have a Aeroflex 7100 which is a dual software defined signal generator
and analyzer. It can take in IQ files and generate signals (and do a
lot more).
Can I use this to generate a simulated GPS signal? I would want to
direct couple it to a receiver being tested and probably want a fixed
attenuator in place to make sure not to damage the receiver if a wrong
power command is sent by accident.
